Bestxplorer owner Fidelis met Chocolate City founder Audu Maikori, and they’ve got big plans for Northern talents.
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the owner of Bestxplorer Blog, Fidelis, met with Barrister Audu Maikori, alongside his brother Enoch and Gate Keepers’ representatives.
Barr. Audu is the founder of Chocolate City, one of the biggest record labels in Africa that produces amazing artists like M.I Abaga, Ckay, Brymo, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, Young John, Blaqbonez, etc.
Barr. Audu was recently appointed as the Chief Strategic Officer on Inter-governmental Affairs to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State. Also, he was appointed by President Tinubu as a member of the Presidential Campaign Council. We had a lengthy discussion with him that lasted for about 2 hours.

He also told me that sensational music artist Firstklaz, who is originally from Nasarawa State, is currently signed to UpNorth Recordz, a subsidiary of Chocolate City.”
