Nigerian vocalist Ayodeji Balogun, widely recognized as Wizkid, is currently in mourning following the demise of his mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun. Mrs.
Balogun peacefully passed away around 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
Sunday Are, Wizkid’s longtime manager, confirmed the tragic news to The Punch.
He stated that Mrs Balogun passed away in the early hours of Friday.
Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun was not only the mother of Wizkid but also the mother of two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
The news of Mrs Balogun’s passing has led to an outpouring of condolences and support from fans, fellow artists, and well-wishers in the entertainment industry.
