Phillip Ayobami, a sportsman, was recently photographed posing with Ruth Innocent, a diminutive lady, at the Bayelsa State orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps.
Photos of the two quickly went viral on social media, with many speculating that they were in a romantic relationship. However, Ayobami has since denied these claims.
Innocent herself posted the photos on March 14, showing her posing with a tall male colleague during their orientation programme as corps members in Bayelsa in 2021.
She claimed that they had fallen in love with each other. The photos were picked up by several online media outlets, and Innocent received many congratulatory messages for finding love despite her small stature.
