Creative twin artistes, AJ Aple, have returned with a brand new single titled “Oversea.”
In this touching song, the AJ Aple talk about a place many people dream of going to which is overseas.
Through the lyrics, they ask important questions about why many citizens are running away from their duties in their own country instead of staying to build it.
AJ Aple also speak about insecurity, questioning why the military sometimes appear powerless in the fight against insurgency and terrorism, yet seem strong when dealing with ordinary civilians and oppressing them. This message speaks the pain and frustration many people feel.
The song further explains that life overseas is not always easy. Even those who leave the country in search of a better life still face suffering. Some later return home, only to find that crimes like armed robbery and other social problems are still affecting the people.
Despite all this, AJ Aple admit that they also wish to travel overseas in search of a better country where things work properly, instead of remaining in their motherland where life is becoming harder.
