Rising talent Samozzy has shared how celebrity lecturer and musician Raphael P. Galleh (MC Rolex) inspired him to start singing in the Eggon language. In a post on Facebook, Samozzy expressed his admiration and gratitude:

He said:

Raphael P. Galleh (MC Rolex), I learned how to sing in Eggon today because of you, and today I’m super. That song “Ashe’dzi” you performed at Eggon Carnival in 2015 and 2016… I was introduced to it through Peter Yakubu (Awasko). It’s a joy then and now to know you, boss.

Today, because of the big love I have for you and the song “Ashe’dzi”, I’m also working on a song called “Ashe’dzi”

Thanks for knowing you. They call me Samozzy Tefs De Singer.”

Samozzy’s revelation shows how inspiration can come from those we admire. He’s now working on his own version of “Ashe’dzi” as a tribute to MC Rolex’s influence.
