“THERE IS NO LOVE AND SUPPORT IN NASARAWA ENTERTAINMENT”, THERE’S HATRED AMONG THE ENTERTAINERS” ETC.
A few Nasarawa artists tagged me in a post where they called out the state’s entertainment industry as unsupportive. They insisted there is hatred among artists who don’t support each other’s growth.
I want to offer my perspective on this situation. Disunity exists everywhere, not just in Nasarawa state but literally in all the other 36 states including the FCT. This is true not only in entertainment but in all industries and organizations nationwide. So, STOP THE NEGATIVITY TODAY and SPREAD LOVE INSTEAD!
POSSIBLE REASONS FOR PROMPHIZY’S CHALLENGE SUCCESS
Let’s reflect on why Promphizy’s ‘Loyal’ challenge took off and gained support from the entertainers and fans from his state and environs and also attract the attention of major or let me say A-list entertainers we have in the country such as the likes of Don Jazzy & Skales.
If people rallied behind or supported him this much, it likely means he is ‘LOYAL’, or a good person, someone with a good heart who has positively impacted fellow artists and others in his reach. Probably his good character appears to have garnered him the support needed to succeed.
SELF-REFLECTION
Before accusing or pointing fingers at others, ask yourself:
– What will people remember you for whether dead or alive?
– What positive difference have you made for other artists or those around you?
– To want industry backing, what have you done to ensure your local entertainment thrives?
– How many artists have you supported and assisted?
– How many can say you impacted their career?
UNITY AMONG NASARAWA ARTISTS
Contrary to claims, I can say there’s a mutual friendship or team work among Nasarawa artists. In fact, the entertainment community is doing remarkably well in supporting each other compared to other states.
I’ve seen love and support for entertainers from people like Dr. Raphael Galleh (Mc Rolex), Ozee, Slodgz, Egbon Barnie, Mac Fabulawz, B-Young FKB, Suspi, Charity Chachagist, DOC, Elbo, Freenity, BlaqCheque, PureSound, Sircidy, Nature Nassmade, and the list goes on that I can not mention all.
If these personalities I mentioned and the ones I can not remember at the time of writing this have helped 2 and more entertainers, what is your complaint all about?
The change you seek starts with you. Reflect on how to be more supportive and together, we can build an even stronger artistic community.
