The recent Incredible Music Festival (IMF) organized by rapper M.I Abaga in Jos, Nigeria was meant to celebrate local music talents.

However, some Jos based entertainers spoke negatively about the event, sparking backlash online.

According to the incredible music producer and multi talent artist Elmore, these critics failed to acknowledge the massive efforts and finances invested into making IMF a world-class festival.

In a heated social media post, Elmore who has obviously put in lots of effort for the success of this event has condemned entertainers “talking ill” about IMF despite them being unable to fund a comparable event.

Elmore’s post highlighted key expenses like live bands costing ₦1 million and stage production amounting to over ₦5 million. Top Nigerian sound engineer Charles Duke was brought in alongside dance crews and orchestras.

Netizens agreed with Elmore, blasting critics for trying to bring down M.I and IMF’s success. Screenshots showed commenters calling the critics “bad mouth” who “sit at home and wanna see someone fail.”

Others felt entertainers were just being jealous instead of supporting the landmark event put together for their benefit.

Many pointed out the critics likely couldn’t afford to organize an event on IMF’s scale.
