The member of the House of Representatives representing Jema’a and Sanga federal constituency, Hon. Dan Amos, had his niece kidnapped in the late hours of Friday, August 25th, 2023.
The residence of Mr. Pius, a brother to Hon. Dan Amos located in the Jagindi area of Jema’a LGA, was stormed by unknown kidnappers around 7pm Friday evening.
The kidnappers forcibly took away Mr. Pius’ first born daughter, Miss Jessica, while she was at home.
At the time of the kidnapping, Miss Jessica was at home with her siblings, but the parents were not home, according to a reliable source who spoke anonymously to Bestxplorer media.
The source confirmed that the kidnappers specifically targeted Miss Jessica, entering the house and taking her away against her will.
There is currently no known reason as to why the kidnappers selected the home of Hon. Dan Amos’ brother or his niece.
Police and security agencies have been alerted about the kidnapping and an investigation is still ongoing.
The kidnappers have not made any contact with the family or issued demands yet at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile the family and local community are also mobilizing resources to locate and return her safely.
