Grammy singer Damini Ogulu popularly known by his stage name, Burna Boy, is on the lips of many for scoring an invite to American singer Beyonce’s party.

The Nigerian singer was among the few attendees at Beyonce’s Tiffany & Co’s partyin Paris.

A photo on social media showed the singer conversing with Beyonce, who wore a bright smile.

Winning an invite to Queen B’s party and having a rare opportunity to converse with her is no doubt a big win for the singer.

Burna Boy recounts working with Beyonce

In 2019, Burna Boy, had revealed what it was like working with Beyonce.

He shared his experience and said working with Beyoncé on a track off her curated album for the Lion King movie was great.

The 28-year-old said this in a tweet, “It was great working on the Lion King Soundtrack with ⁦@Beyonce⁩. Listen and Enjoy,”.

The album, The Lion King: The Gift, featured other Nigerian singers like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi and Yemi Alade.

The hit song from the album was black Skin Girl, which features her daughter Blue Ivy and Wizkid.

The song encourages black girls to cherish their melanin skin and praises celebrities, known to be gorgeously dark in complexion.

Beyonce speaks on working with Nigerian artists

Beyonce, said she wanted a collection of songs from different genres that express what she was trying to pass across.

She said, “This is a sonic cinema, a new experience of storytelling and I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film.

It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, pop, hip hop and Afro-Beat. I wanted to put everyone on their own journey to link the storyline.
