Sequel to the publications from Tomorrow youth ambassadors (Miss Nasarawa) Thursday, 7th April,2022..Here’s our Reply to them

In business (for profit-making or non for profit-making), emotions are death. A business that is more than 5 years is still having going concern issues and the external auditing unit didn’t forewarn that?

Before you embark on any form of business (whether for profit or non-profit-making), you must forecast or do your feasibility study to know the viability of the business model. A lot of businesses model their performance 5 years ahead before thinking of commencing.

TYA/Miss Nasarawa is not a start-up it has been in existence for years (more than 5 years, which a business should know her faith in continuity after these years) and by now it should have known her position.

From our initial post and that of the contestants, we never mentioned that the prizes funds will come from the voting money, sales of tickets, or visits to the government offices. We only state their performance and how the winning benchmark was eventually eroded.
In business, don’t make a promise that relies on the deliverables of others especially when they are huge, take responsibility and be transparent with your customers.

The alleged meeting they claim to call was not communicated to every queen (it wasn’t through the normal official channel they normally communicate). From facts, only two queens were called over the phone (others were sidelined) they (who were present in the meeting) didn’t bother to call others because they believe everyone was informed but on reaching the meeting venue they were shocked.
The only official meeting they had was on 31/12/2021 a day after the event.

The threat given to the queens was real and no handbook or any policy document was given to the queens, the only document that the queens lay their hands on was the participation form, there was no form of terms and conditions stated on the form except to the parents/guardians of the queens and it read “Signing this column means you have given your full consent to allow your daughter participate in the 2021 Miss Nasarawa Beauty Pageant.” The only thing that was given to the queens by Miss Nasarawa is the Crown and Sash.

The queens made every effort to hear about the way forward from the management but they turn a deaf ear.

As such the brand failed to fulfill its mandate, therefore, we seek the state government and the relevant authorities to take appropriate measures on this.

It’s a fight for justice, we’re not fighting any individual but we just want the right thing to be done.

We have more than enough pieces of evidence and facts to validate our points and to also counter all their claims.

You can’t be deceiving young people always
