The Nasarawa State Entertainment may be experiencing an evolution or a transformation as tons of entertainers are taking it to social media to express their dissatisfaction with event planners or show organizers.

The trend and hash tags started when SCMG boss Emmanuel Sircidy on Sunday, 09th 2022 demanded for a full payment to producer and artiste, Joe Dee from Show organizer, Steve Shammah as the winner of 2020 ‘Nasarawa To The World’ talent competition.
It was clearly stated that Joe Dee was only paid N20,000 instead of N200,000.

Again, a different person in the person of Alfredo was also taken to Government house in place of Joe Dee by Steve Shammah where they met with the sitting Governor and alleged that Steve Shammah collected a huge some of money from the Governor but never gave anything to the rightful winner of his talent show.

It was alleged that the Governor H.E Engr. A.A Sule gave a sum of N1Million Naira to Steve Shammah but Joe Dee got nothing from it and Alfredo on the other hand who stood as Joe Dee was only given N9,000 as alleged by his undisclosed spokesperson.

Popular rapper, Nas T Breed also expresses his dissatisfaction with the organizers of ‘Miss Nasarawa’ beauty pageant where he stated that he was added to a group of performing artistes on whatsapp and was offered only N10,000 to perform which he described as an insult to his name and brand.

On the contrary, popular act, Suspi has however applauded the convener of Miss Nasarawa, Precious Bashayi for helping him numerous times from free radio promotions, free interviews and also gave him a huge some of money to perform at Miss Nasarawa event. The yerima Arewa, Ozee who is also from Nasarawa State also talked about the unjust treatment given to artistes in Nasarawa state by events organizers where he called on entertainers to have a well structured body.

A reputable act, Mac Fabulawz wasn’t left behind as he also spoke bitterly about the maltreatment of artistes in the state.

A producer and singer, Genesisofrhymes also made a contribution on the trending Hash tag where he stated why an artiste would pay for studio section and also pay for promotion but won’t be appreciated for his work by shows organizers.

Allen Jackxon who also contributed said show organizers in the state hardly make any profit from shows but he has however encouraged them to pick few artistes whom they can afford and pay them well. Finally Allen said; “Just give me better money and I’ll give you d best of me”
