Sanga Rerun Election2020: The Lioness, Comfort Amwe aka Mama Sanga Retain House Of Assembly Seat.
The re-run election which was held yesterday at the various polling units of the Sanga local government has been marked peaceful and successful.
Mrs. Comfort Amwe who was the then chairwoman of the local government and one term Commissioner of Women affairs, Kaduna state has been declared the winner of the just concluded house of assembly re-run election. Mama Sanga as fondly call is to represent the good people of the local government at the state level.
Below is the result as announced by the Returning Officer, Dr. Salihu Musa Kargi of ABU Zaria whom said; Mrs. Comfort Amwe of the PDP polled 19,815 votes to defeat her closest rival Hon. Haliru Gambo Dangana of the APC who scored 19,688 votes.
