While opting to leave the details of the Sanga Re-run for another day, may I congratulate Mrs Comfort Amwe, Sanga People and everyone who contributed in one way or the other to ensure that the general will of the People of Sanga was upheld.
It is not a crime to be in an opposing Political Party. Opposition is compatible with Democracy and PDP MHA can work and have indeed been working with the APC -controlled HOA and the Government. The ruling Party requires alternative views and a mirror in which it can look at itself. That is what an opposing Party does and this is what the PDP Members of the HOA should do.
Their Party affiliation should never be used to victimize them or deprive their Constituencies of Development Projects or Services.
The notion that being in an opposing Party means being against the Government in Power is wrong and should be discarded .
Mama Sanga, join your colleagues at the KSHA to work for the progress of your State and your Constituency.
With Mrs Amwe’s Seat assured, I am off to join my Colleagues in Gambia for probably my last outing at the ECOWAS Parliament.
