The first Edition of the UPCOMING STARS AWARD NIGHT proudly organised by SirCidy Multi Media has come and gone, no doubt that the Award night which receives massive hype and publicity was a success looking at the fact that it was the first Edition.

The event which took place at TA’AL Conference Hotel, Lafia has witnessed some set of dignitaries that were or can be rarely seen at any Nasarawa made events. Some of the VIPs that honoured and graced the occasion were, Hon. Muhammad Zakari a former Commissioner Of Information and Communication, a then lecturer of Mass Communication with the Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Hon. Zakari had been to 11 countries of this planet Earth and has helped and support the growth of entertainment in Nasarawa State, to mention but a few. Another very important personality who was at the Award night was Hon. Salisu Galadima. He’s the chief photographer to Nasarawa State Governor and appointed as Chairman of Nasarawa United FC by the state Governor. Galadima supported entertainment in the state beyond reasonable doubt. The two dignitaries stormed the event with tons of families, friends and well wishers and were both honored with a special recognition awards.

Notwithstanding, there was a surprised appearance by Lil Jojo one of the promising artiste in Nigeria who had worked with top rappers like; Olamide, the late Dagrin etc.

However in every Nigerians events one must receive criticism or applaud from critics, fans and well wishers. USAN award winning blog of the YEAR Bestxplorer Blog has gathered that in the case of USAN it wasn’t an exception as fans talked or complaints about some certains things such as the delay in time before the commencement of the event, average turn up, much time spend by performing acts on stage, the absence of drinks at the VIPs tables and others.
