I think it’s wrong for Kizz Daniel to start his so-called “Fxck You Challenge”. Even if your girlfriend cheated on you, that doesn’t give you the yardstick to go about insulting her. It’s totally wrong and absurd. To worsen it all, even the so-called superstars are doing it. Many superstars such as Falz Tha Bahdguy, Ice Prince, Dremo, Simi, Sarkodie and Vector, just to mention a few also jumped on it.
What are we teaching the youths? To insult their girlfriends because they cheated? To call them silly names including the “B” word? We need to respect women. We need to appreciate them even against all odds.
I was really hurt when on Mother’s Day, I kept seeing posts like “Fxck You”. That’s devastating and highly disrespectful.
I am calling on Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) to ban the song (which I know they will). We are in the 21st century for crying out loud, we need to be careful on the kind of contents we release as artistes. I’m highly disappointed in the so-called superstars we have in Nigeria.
