Nigerians went into a frenzy recently when it was revealed that multi award winning actress Funke Akindele will be starting in Marvel’s superhero movie, Avengers:Infinity War.
In a new twist of things however, the Jenifa star’ name has been removed from the cast list of the movie. It is not yet sure why this happened and many Nigerians are already feeling disappointed.
It will be recalled the actress never confirmed or deny the reports on her social media pages, and now, her name no longer appears on the cast list at IMDb.
Could it possibly have been a ruse to generate interest among Nigerian viewers for the movie?
