It’s true and indeed the entertainment industry in Kaduna State is fast growing and improving with hundreds of gifted and talented acts ranging from music, comedy, Blogging, acting and so many others. There are arguments on which senatorial zone has the highest numbers of these wonderful and talented acts, many believed that Southern Kaduna is taking the lead and which of course it has led us to the 4th Assignment of Kaduna Entertainment Awards (KEAAWARDS) which is just around the corner.
Last year there was a lot of controversy surrounding the KEAAWARDS as many of the artistes from Kaduna South were not nominated which makes the fans furious to the extend of taken a shot at the organisers and considering the awards as “Fraud” while some says the organisers of the event were injustice, others says they were been paid. This raises so many issues and questions.
However, the social media especially Facebook has been trending recently about the forthcoming award in which fans have been mentioning names of artistes that they think deserves to be nominated this year. “It will not be fair if they’re not nominated” as some of the fans says. Others says “We will not be happy if we don’t see their names”
Few among the fans advices the organisers saying the KEAAWARDS can only become big and well known if only the organisers would involve justice, fear of God, equality and indifferences in handling the Awards.
Fans keep applauding most of these artistes for their effortless and tireless work in keeping it real adding that their nomination is for sure and there is no two ways about it.
