Concerned Nigerian youths and road users have issued a powerful appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Delta State Government, urging urgent intervention to rehabilitate the severely deteriorated roads connecting Edo State, Warri, Asaba, and Ebu in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The deplorable state of these roads has inflicted serious hardship on motorists, traders, farmers, students, transport operators, and residents who rely on these routes daily. Of particular concern is the road leading to Ebu, which becomes nearly impassable during heavy rains, leaving travelers stranded for hours.

This situation is more than just an infrastructure issue-it is a humanitarian crisis. The poor roads escalate transportation costs, cause vehicle damage, disrupt businesses, and expose citizens to unnecessary risks.
The group behind the appeal stresses the need for urgent collaboration between the Federal and Delta State governments to rehabilitate and reconstruct these vital roads.

“No Nigerian should have to fear for their safety simply because they are traveling from one community to another,” the statement reads.
