Olumide D’Goke A.A., professionally known as Lumiegee, is a Nigerian recording artist, audio engineer, and songwriter.
Early Life and Education:
Born on October 9, in Lagos, Nigeria, Lumiegee’s musical journey began in the church choir. He grew up in Lagos before relocating to the United Kingdom, where he furthered his education and honed his craft.
He attended the University of Lagos, studying Materials Engineering and Mass Communication, and later pursued Audio Engineering at the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
Music Career:
Lumiegee’s music style is a fusion of Afropop, R&B, Soul, and World music, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti, Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo, Common, Burnaboy and More.
He released his debut EP, “LUV Matters,” in 2019, which was followed by singles like “If U Fit,” “Fight 4me,” and “BBG (Big Bootie Gurl).” His latest single, “YEHBAH,” is part of a 3-track EP titled “GRACE,” released in 2025.
