The robbery took place today Thursday at around 2:30pm which lasted for almost an hour before the intervention from the military personnel of the Nigerian Army alongside men of the Nigerian Police force, where they had a gun battle with the arm robbers which made the robbers to fled away.
According to a victim who Plead for anonymity told a staff with BESTXPLORER that he was the first victim that was been ambushed by the arm robbers who were fully dressed with army Khaki while holding a heavy riffles, he said “I was just driving heading to Keffi with my friend when these men suddenly came out from the bush and fired several shots on my wheels, ordered me to stop and they collected our phone with all of our money” He added saying that the men could possibly be Fulani because they spoke in Hausa while having Fulani tongue. Bestxplorer further interviewed his partner who he was driven alongside with and he also said they collected his money and his mobile phone but they later returned the phone to him and he doesn’t know why they returned the phone back. He also said that the arm robbers seems to be Fulani men while they disguise themselves in Army uniforms. Nevertheless, many cars had to parked from the both sides, the above picture was captured by BESTXPLORER which displayed the victims of the robbery attacked.
