A man in Utah, Michael Haight, aged 42, has committed suicide after killing his wife, five children, and mother-in-law.
The disturbing incident occurred after Haight was being investigated for child abuse. According to reports, Haight shot his wife, mother-in-law, and five children.
The police found their bodies in the family’s home, and footage of the scene was released. In a twisted suicide note left behind by Haight, he accused his wife of being manipulative and claimed she drove him to commit the heinous crime.
However, investigations revealed that Haight was the abuser in the family, and his wife was the victim. The note read, “I would rather rot in hell than to put up with another day of this manipulation and control over me.”
Haight’s daughters, Macie, Briley, and Sienna, and sons, Ammon and Gavin, as well as his wife’s mother, were all murdered in the incident.
