Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Wizkid, has blasted his senior colleague, 2Baba, for rating Burna Boy ahead of him on the global stage.
2Baba aka 2 Face had during a recent interview with Seun Okinbaloye, shared his opinion on the popular ‘Big 3’ – a term used to describe Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who are celebrated as Nigeria’s most dominant global musical exports.
Answering questions about the debate on who among the three musicians reign supreme in the industry, 2Baba named Burna Boy as number one Nigerian artiste “on the global stage”.
However, reacting to 2Baba’s opinion, Wizkid in a post on Snapchat, described him as old man.
While telling 2Baba to make peace with his family first instead of sharing opinion about music, Wizkid stated, “I’m never letting it slack in 2026.”
“At least make peace with your family first before having opinions about music. Old man,” he added.
