4. Former Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress, APC-led federal government may arrest him. El-Rufai, a chieftain of the opposition African Democratic Congress, ADC, also alleged that political pressure is forcing some politicians to defect to the ruling APC or remain within it.

5. President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf as the new Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission, NAHCON. 8. The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, on Wednesday, condemned reports of plans by certain individuals to violently subvert Nigeria’s democracy, declaring that perpetrators would face the full wrath of the law.
