On the eve of International Women’s Day, @sandtonhotel will host the W.O.W Africa 50 Women Honours, an evening celebrating women who continue to shape Africa’s economic and leadership landscape. The honourees represent diverse sectors including finance, governance, healthcare, mining, innovation, fashion, media, environmental leadership and enterprise development.

The award series focuses on measurable impact, resilience and transformational leadership. Detailed profiles of the honourees will be featured in the next issue of W.O.W Business Magazine, which highlights the experiences and achievements of African women redefining the continent’s future.

Monday, 9 March 2026 — W.O.W Africa 100 Founding Members Breakfast

Following the honours ceremony, W.O.W Africa will host an exclusive gathering of its 100 Founding Members for a closed-door strategic session. The breakfast meeting brings together senior leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and professionals for focused dialogue on:

  • Expanding shared influence across African markets

  • Strengthening cross-border alliances among women leaders

  • Advancing wealth creation through ownership and strategic partnerships

  • Supporting African-led institutions and long-term economic ecosystems

  • Consolidating collective economic power through collaboration

The session underscores W.O.W Africa’s belief that meaningful progress is accelerated when women work in alignment rather than isolation.

The Vision Behind W.O.W Africa

Founded by South African entrepreneur and wealth strategist Lelo N, W.O.W Africa was established to provide a platform that places women at the centre of economic leadership and multi-generational legacy building. Fluent in Kiswahili and committed to cross-cultural engagement, Lelo N champions a pan-African vision rooted in access, inclusion and shared prosperity.

“W.O.W Africa is about women shaping markets, influencing policy and creating opportunities together,” she said. The organisation functions as an integrated ecosystem built around recognition, strategic dialogue, storytelling and partnership development.

Looking Ahead — W.O.W Africa 50 Men

In line with its commitment to inclusive leadership, W.O.W Africa will host W.O.W Africa 50 Men on 6 June 2026. This initiative celebrates African men who champion ethical leadership and actively support women’s progress while contributing to a more collaborative continental economy.

W.O.W Africa is powered by The Lelo N Foundation and The House of W.O.W, organisations dedicated to advancing African excellence and promoting legacy-driven leadership across the continent.
