The federal government has announced that all group-stage bonuses due to players of the Super Eagles at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations have been released and are expected to reflect in the players’ domiciliary accounts within hours. 3. Kano State House of Assembly has thrown its weight behind the planned defection of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from the New Nigeria People’s Party, citing unresolved leadership crises and ongoing court cases that it says could jeopardise his mandate.
