5. No fewer than 42 Nigerians have been deported from Ghana’s Ashanti Region following rulings by various courts over alleged prostitution, fraud, and other related offences. The development was disclosed in a Facebook post on Thursday, December 18, 2025, by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Frank Amoakohene.
6. Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested Shodunke Yetunde Simbiat, a wanted leader of a drug syndicate, who had been in hiding since May 2024 following the arrest of two other kingpins, Bolanle Lookman Dauda and Olayinja Toheebat Dauda.
