Nigerian evergreen indigenous singer, Wina No1, also known as “Singer With the Vibes,” has returned once again with another amazing track. This time, he drops a special hometown tribute titled “AGY Anthem.”
The new song is dedicated to his beloved hometown Agyaragu, a vibrant community in Nasarawa State, just a few minutes away from the state capital, Lafia.
“AGY Anthem” is a smooth blend of his native dialect, Koro, English and Hausa, creating a rich cultural feel that only Wina can deliver.
In the song, he proudly says “Agyaragu Gida ne” meaning Agyaragu is my home, a land filled with blessings and beautiful people.
Wina reveals that no matter where he goes around the world, there is no place like home. He expresses deep love for AGY, quoting lines like “AGY Gida Ne.”
Wina No1 further shares that his father is from AGY, his mother is from AGY, and his entire loving people comes from that same soil.
There is no doubt that Wina No1 truly carries his people in his heart, and with this new anthem, he continues to proudly represent Agyaragu and celebrate his roots.
