DBOG EMPOWERS 450 PUPILS WITH SCHOOL MATERIALS

On Tuesday, 16th September 2025, The Bond of Greatness Humanitarian Initiative (DBOG) carried out another impactful outreach by distributing school bags, exercise books, and pens to 450 pupils across four schools within the Oladipo School Complex, Oke-Oja Amukoko under the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Education Authority.

The beneficiary schools included:
– Oladipo Primary School 1, led by Mrs. Ezeoke Christiana Chineye, ably represented by the Assistant Head Mistress, Mrs. Timehin Marybeth Aduke, who received the items on behalf of the school.

– Oladipo Primary School 2, under the leadership of Mrs. Jaiyeola Abímbólá Omowunmi.

– Sari-Iganmu Primary School 1, headed by Mrs. Ogunleye Sabanal Ojuolape.

– Sari-Iganmu Primary School 2, with Mrs. Fagbola Omoniyi Toyin as the Head Mistress.

During the exercise, the President of DBOG, Mr. Adewale Adenuga, addressed the pupils, making it clear that the main reason for the outreach was to support indigent pupils whose parents could not afford basic school materials. He encouraged the children to always be of good conduct, remain focused on their studies, and remember that they can achieve greatness in life, regardless of their current circumstances. He reminded them that nothing should discourage them from pursuing their dreams.

In addition to the general distribution, a heartwarming moment occurred when Master Oloyede Joshua, a Primary 2 pupil of Oladipo Primary School 1, was presented with a new pair of school sandals. This gesture came after the DBOG team observed during an earlier assessment visit that he had been attending school in torn bathroom slippers, lacking proper footwear.

Speaking on behalf of the schools, Mrs. Timehin Marybeth Aduke expressed deep appreciation to The Bond of Greatness Humanitarian Initiative for their generosity and goodwill, noting the positive impact such gestures have on the morale and learning experience of the children.

The event witnessed the presence of the four Head Mistresses along with several teachers from the schools, who warmly welcomed the initiative.

The DBOG team was led by its President, Mr. Adewale Adenuga, alongside:

Mr. Samuel Ojo – Vice President
Mr. Olusoji Oyedele – Secretary
Mr. Raphael Adebisi – Treasurer I
Mr. Peter Adewoye – Public Relations Officer
Mr. Doyin Oyinloye – Treasurer II
Mr. Israel Ayodeji – Member
Mr. Aduralere Akintola – Member

This outreach reflects the organization’s continued commitment to its vision of “Progress in Unity” by empowering children and fostering hope through education.
