According to reports from Chachagist360 as shared by Slodgz, indigenous music artiste Aren Fufu 1 of Eggon Land was reportedly kidnapped yesterday around Nasarawa-Toto, Nasarawa State.
The detail surrounding the kidnapping is yet to emerge and no official statement has been released by the authorities or Aren Fufu 1’s management team neither his family too.
Nasarawa State has experienced a surge in kidnapping incidents in recent times. In February 2025, the Nasarawa State Police Command arrested two suspected kidnappers and recovered incriminating exhibits, including military uniforms and stolen vehicles.
The police operatives were commended for their swift response and professionalism in handling the case.
The Nasarawa State Police Command has been proactive in addressing security challenges. In March 2025, operatives eliminated a notorious kidnapper in Akwanga, recovering a Beretta pistol and live ammunition.
