CYK DEE CALLS OUT ENVOH OVER UNPAID PERFORMANCE FEE AT FACE OF NASARAWA
Upcoming artiste CYK Dee who is base in Nasarawa state has taken to social media to publicly call out Envoh, the convener of the recently concluded Face of Nasarawa event, over an alleged failure to pay him for his performance.
In a frustrated post, CYK Dee expressed disappointment, stating that he was convinced to perform at the event with the promise of receiving his full payment afterward.
However, since the event ended, he claims that Envoh has ignored his messages and has yet to settle his balance.

CYK Dee lamented that not only was he unpaid, but he was also left stranded in Lafia without food or transportation back to school. He mentioned that the only money he received was ₦5,000 for transport before the event, leaving him in a difficult situation after fulfilling his part of the agreement.
The artist further questioned the credibility of the Face of Nasarawa awards, raising concerns about whether contestants received their promised cash prizes.
“How sure am I that your contestants received their cash prizes as promised, since I haven’t received my MONEY?”
CYK Dee described the situation as an act of oppression, stating that it discourages young artistes who are trying to earn a living through their craft.
“Is this how you treat your workers? Is this how you treat your contestants? I’m just an artiste trying to earn a living with my craft. Don’t be a reaper and an oppressor!”
