Yung Emack, whose real name is Chukwudi Emmanuel Obioha, hails from Imo State but is currently based in Nasarawa and Abuja, Nigeria. A passionate artiste with an incredible story, Yung Emack shares his journey into music and what drives his unique sound.

Yung Emack’s Words and Biography Below…

“I’m an Igbo guy from Imo State, but currently based in Abuja. I started music because of the love I have for it. Over time, I discovered that music is truly my talent.

I began my journey at 15. I was always at home watching TV, and my favorite thing to watch was music videos. At some point, it felt like I knew every song that played. That’s when the rap spirit kicked in. I started rapping and writing lyrics.

Whenever we did freestyle rap sessions in school, I always stood out as the best rapper among my friends. That’s when I started seeing myself as an artist. I knew music had chosen me to show the world how much healing and good feelings it can bring to the soul.

One unforgettable moment was my first studio session. Everyone at the studio loved my sound and was shocked to learn it was my first time recording. That moment confirmed to me that it’s music or nothing for me.

I’ve had countless dreams of chilling with big music artists like Rema, Don Jazzy, and even Michael Jackson. I’ve also seen myself performing on big stages with large audiences. I believe the universe has given me all the signs I need.

Music is my life, my sound, and my pride. If the world doesn’t hear my sound, then I’m the one to blame.”
