Popular Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, is one of the trending conversations online following a new video of him that surfaced online. In it, he gives a shocking update on his NGO account.
In the clip shared on his official Instagram page today, December 27th 2024, VeryDarkMan says that he has not being himself for the past few days because some hackers hacked into the NGO Website and took N180M out the N200M in the account.
Intel Region reports that Verydarkman recently launched an NGO account aimed at supporting public secondary schools through the NYSC program.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Verydarkman revealed that the account has been hacked.
He admitted that the incident has left him deeply unsettled and confirmed that one suspect has been arrested in connection with the breach.
He said; “For the past few days I haven’t been myself and it hasn’t been easy,I got hope and confidence to speak up when the police helped tracked and apprehended one of the suspects, truth is the NGO account was hacked and 160million naira was diverted,I am on my way to Jos and hopefully I will be able to recover everything.”
