Renowned music executive and Mavin Records CEO, Collins Michael Ajereh better known as Don Jazzy, has made headlines with a staggering N100,000,000 donation to the Martins Vincent Otse Initiative, a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by social media influencer VeryDarkMan.
On October 16, 2024, VeryDarkMan took to social media to share his astonishment upon discovering an additional N100 million in his NGO’s Zenith Bank account, bringing the total to N170 million.
Perplexed by the sudden deposit, he expressed concerns that it might be a setup by the government or a banking error.
VeryDarkMan solicited his followers’ testimony and urged Zenith Bank to investigate the mysterious transaction, stating:
“Nigeria, I beg you guys to be my witness. I hope this is not a setup. Zenith, please do a thorough investigation. Nigerians, you guys are my witness on this.”
MUSIC MOGUL DON JAZZY REVEALS HIMSELF AS THE DONOR
The mystery was short-lived, as the donor came forward the very next day. On October 17, VeryDarkMan announced that Collins Michael aka Don Jazzy had personally messaged him on Instagram, confessing to the generous donation.
Overwhelmed, VeryDarkMan expressed his gratitude:
“The person who sent my NGO N100 million has revealed himself. Till now, I can’t believe it. Please, guys, say a prayer for him. N100 million, just like that. I will not disappoint you and everyone who has contributed so far. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.”
Don Jazzy’s Instagram DM to VeryDarkMan read:
“Morning bro. Just saw your post. Na me send 100m to support. I believe in what you’re doing and trust you to be as transparent as you’ve always been. We really need that in our country. I wish you all the best with the project and more blessings to you. E no easy.”
This remarkable gesture underscores Don Jazzy’s commitment to empowering meaningful initiatives in Nigeria.
