Banky W’s Big Move: Nigerian R&B Icon Relocates to US with Family
Nigerian music sensation, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has made a significant personal and professional move, relocating to the United States with his loved ones.
The Empire Mates Entertainment boss revealed the move on Instagram, sharing that he will be pursuing a Master’s degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Alongside a photo of himself, his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport, Banky W asked his followers to send their best wishes as they embark on this new chapter.
PUNCH Online reports that the 43-year-old artiste was born in the US and married Adesua in 2017.
Reacting via the comment section, his wife, a renowned actress, Adesua wrote, “Home is wherever you are.”
