Professor Sa’adatu who expressed management’s displeasure over the outcome of the inconclusive students elections said that the move to suspend further activity on the elections was taken to allow for frayed nerves to be calm and forestall any perceived breakdown of law and order.

The Vice-Chancellor stated that an investigative committee will be set up to investigate the immediate and remote causes of the fracas that disrupted the smooth conclusion of the elections. She further assured that security agencies are also working round the clock to ensure that there is no breakdown of law and order in the school. She urged the aspirants to address their numerous supporters on the need to maintain peace and order in the University.
