The construction of the plant began following a deal signed in November 2021 with the Chinese firm Sinoma, known for its expertise in building large-scale industrial plants.

The new facility in Kogi State marks a major milestone for Dahiru Mangal, who hails from Katsina.

His foray into the cement industry is expected to have a substantial impact on the local economy by creating jobs and increasing the supply of cement in Nigeria.
