Israel DMW, the logistics manager to Davido, and Shallipopi, the singer, were involved in a car accident in Abuja.
Shallipopi held a concert in Abuja on Saturday night.
The 23-year-old delivered spectacular performances for the attending fans who cheered him all through the night.
Israel DMW who was backstage to provide support for the singer took to his Instagram story to break the news of the accident.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday as the duo were returning from the show.
In the video posted by the logistics manager, two SUVs were involved in the crash while one of the cars had a damaged bonnet, door, and rear light. The other vehicle had a burst front tyre.
Israel DMW said they were returning to their hotel after the show when “a car ran into us”.
The logistics manager revealed that no one was hurt in the accident.
He also appreciated God and his “ancestors” for their protection.
“Me and Shalipopi, just had an accident, after a vehicle ran into us, on our way back to hotel after a show,” he wrote.
“I sat at the front seat, while Shali sat at the back. Thanks to God Almighty, thanks to Edo ancestors. No single scratch of injury at all.”
