Nasarawa artist who is on self exiled MC Rolex has today hint an exciting development, the launch of a major music festival in his hometown of Lafia, Nasarawa State.
MC Rolex, whose real name is Dr. Raphael Galleh, took to Facebook to share the idea of the “Lafia City Music Festival #LCMF2024.” Though details are scarce, this hint already has fans talkingand anxious for it.
This festival would be organized by MC Rolex’s label YesYesYoo Entertainment. It promises to spotlight musical talents from Lafia and the State at large and would possibly provide a platform for exchange between local and national Nigerian artists as we at Bestxplorer believe some of the top Nigerian artists will be present.
However, MC Rolex did not reveal any information yet on dates, venue, or artists.
The brilliant and talented artist himself has been on a self-imposed exile from the industry to focus on academia.
He is currently a lecturer with Nasarawa State University and a PhD student with the renowned University of Shiefield, United Kindom.
MC Rolex is now looking to make his comeback by promoting music in his hometown.
Nasarawa Entertainers and Lafia residents are already eagerly awaiting more details on LCMF2024.
