Kaduna producer and rapper, BossOfficial Accuses Fellow Artist Whenom of Theft.
Controversy has surrounded two artists in Southern part of Kaduna state after a producer and rapper BossOfficial accused fellow musician Whenom of stealing his music studio equipments and belongings from his home in Kaduna.
According to BossOfficial, he entrusted Whenom with a spare key to his home before traveling out of town. BossOfficial claimed he considered Whenom a good friend and “like a brother” at the time.
However, upon BossOfficial’s return, he received shocking news that Whenom had packed up and taken his studio gadgets, personal clothes, and even bag of beans belonging to BossOfficial’s mother.
BossOfficial said neighbors informed him that Whenom claimed he had permission to take BossOfficial’s things.
BossOfficial denies ever permitting such actions.
Whenom apparently admitted in a Facebook message to BossOfficial that he took the gadgets but denied theft intentions claiming that he went for a geek with the items but will return them.
However, it’s now been two months and Whenom has yet to return any items, ignoring BossOfficial’s calls.
In a separate message, Whenom told BossOfficial to stop “chasing clout” by calling him out publicly regarding the missing gadgets. But BossOfficial responded by declaring Whenom “wanted by police” in a viral post detailing the items taken and situation.
The ongoing accusations have sparked controversy with some artists advising BossOfficial to settle the issue amicably without necessarily calling Whenom out on social media.
BossOfficial has however stands firm in demanding the return of his stolen equipment and holding Whenom accountable.
One Gospel Mathew alleged that the same Whenom has once stolen his belongings too.
