Concern After Video Showing Nigerian Artist Mohbad’s Body Circulates Online
A troubling video has emerged online that shows the body of Nigerian artist Mohbad. The graphic footage has sparked strong reactions and mourning from many on social media.
Earlier reports stated that the singer, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, had passed away at the age of 27.
The new video purporting to show Mohbad’s deceased body has further alarmed fans across Nigeria. Many viewers believe it provides visual evidence of the 27-year-old’s premature passing.
Olamide, Ovie, TG Omori, Do2dtun and others have confirmed the death. However, as of the time of this report, it’s unclear the cause of his death.
Mohbad, before his demise was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian records” and left the label in 2022.
He’s best known for his hît singles, Peace, Ponmo, Feel Good, and KPK (Ko Por Ke) with Rexxie which was nominated three times for The Headies awards in 2022.
However, a friend of Mohbad while crying posted the dead body of Mohbad.
