Davido, a Nigerian singer and music executive, has announced the rebranding and relaunch of his record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
As part of this relaunch, he has added two new artists, Morravey and Logos Olori, to his label. Morravey, a Port Harcourt-bred singer/songwriter, is known for blending Afro sounds with her unique vocals. Meanwhile, Logos Olori is an Afrobeats singer who draws inspiration from his Yoruba roots.
The announcement was made after the unveiling of the tracklist for Davido’s new album, ‘Timeless,’ which features a range of artists, including legendary Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo, British rapper, Skepta, and Nigerian singers, Asake, Fave, and Cavemen.
DMW is home to Liya, Peruzzi, May D, and Dremo, while Mayorkun, Lil Frosh, and Yonda were also formerly signed to the label.
Davido’s rebranding efforts aim to take his label to the next level, showcasing fresh and upcoming talent from Nigeria’s thriving music industry. With the addition of Morravey and Logos Olori, DMW 2.0 is set to offer a unique blend of Afro sounds and Yoruba-inspired music to fans worldwide.
The relaunch of DMW is expected to take place soon, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Davido’s new album ‘Timeless.’
