Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, a Nigerian music sensation, has vowed that fans won’t have to buy tickets in order to attend his performances in the state of Lagos.
This was said by him during his December 2022 Live in Lagos performance, which he had previously declared to be his final performance in Lagos.
The celebrated musician claimed that he frequently has his words misquoted, and the most recent one about his performance in the city was one of them.
Wizkid noted that in order to prevent inaccurate reporting by news organizations and social media users, he will need to start finishing his sentences.
Big Wiz claims that when he posted the statement on his social media page, he meant that his fans will no longer have to pay to attend his performances in Nigeria’s commercial capital after 2023.
Starboy said on stage during a break in his performance that he thought it was unfair to travel the world performing and then return home to demand that his audience pay to see him.

Ayra Starr, a singer from Nigeria, has described how she met Wizkid and how they worked together.
In an interview, she said that Wizzy’s appointed Disc Jockey, DJ Tunez, was the one who connected them.
The “Rush” hitmaker claimed that Tunez got in touch with her to let her know that Wizkid was interested in using her on a song.
Ayra Starr claimed she was requested to attend the recording session for the song “2 Sugar” at the “Fever” crooner’s studio.
The Mavin Princess claimed that while getting ready to attend Wizzy’s studio, she was anxious but that once there, everything was simple.
She said; “We were in LA and DJ Tunez, who is Wizkid’s official DJ, sent me a message to pull up to the studio, telling me that Wizkid wants to record with me.
I was so nervous before I went to this session but when I got there it was so easy.”
