The man who was reported to be a native doctor rose up from death when he was about to be buried on Tuesday in Gidan Angalu community in Toto Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
The 59 year old native doctor, Godwin Ugeelu Amadu was reported dead in a private hospital by a medical practitioner around 6am on 5 September 2022.
The native doctor was thereafter wheeled into the mortuary.
While members of the family were waiting for the arrival of Mr. Jacob Amadu, his eldest son, who resided in Abuja, it was gathered that the native doctor had preinformed his children that he must be buried within three days of his passing.
After the arrival of the eldest son, arrangements for his burial service were done in two days; but the deceased native doctor suddenly got up from the casket shortly after his dead body was brought to the graveyard for burial service.
The acclaimed ‘resurrection’ of the native doctor’s two days after he was reported dead has caused commotion in the area, turning the native doctor into an overnight celebrity.
