Tomorrow Youth’s Ambassador through its publicity secretary, Daniel Araku has finally responded to the allegations laid out against it by some of the winning Queens of 2021 Miss Nasarawa Beauty Pageant.

We have also seen how the “Aggrieved Runner up” calculated their ticket sales and money for forms as enough reason to enable the organization have enough funds, needless to say but an example worthy of note, only 9 contestants made it to the Finale of which only two persons sold tickets worth 100k each at the event, someone even made a ticket sales of 5k amongst them, which wasn’t even enough to take care of Venue and Decoration. The Deputy Governor supported the organization with 150k while the First Lady gave us 200k, all these were spelled to the contestants.
After the Miss Nasarawa 2021/2022, we got disappointed by 90 percent of prizes promised to be given to us by the Event sponsors and partners except for the Star Prize of a Brand New car given to us by the State Government. This was explained to the Runners up in a meeting were we spelled out why the Star Prize should be given first, but they all declined the decision, saying they “must” be given prizes too if the Star prize of a car is to be given.
The External Auditing Unit to the Miss Nasarawa Beauty Pageant has also confirmed that the organization expanded the total sum of N2,430,500.00 (Budget available on request) as running cost to successfully host the 2021/2022 Edition of the event with some unsettled debts as a result of failed promises and pledges by sponsoring organizations and individuals. The whole protest of saying the organization should convert the Star Prize of a Brand New Car which was donated by the state Government as consolation prizes for runners up was explained to the Runners Up as an impossible decision which has inspired the harshtag #JusticefortheQueens. As an organization, we have also joined the #JusticeforTheQueens campaign if that would motivate individuals and sponsors who are yet to redeem their pledges to do so.
The Miss Nasarawa Team in order to satisfy both sides (The Winner and the Runners up) set up a committee to see to the possibility of selling the Brand New car and getting a smaller car at a lower prize while giving out consolation prizes to the runners up which was later kicked against by a Top Government official who is also the Patron of the Miss Nasarawa brand. All these were communicated to the “Aggrieved Queens” who felt the Star Prize isn’t important but the consolation prizes should come first.
The organizers of the Miss Nasarawa Beauty Pageant has also seen false publication about threats to dethrone a Queen for seeking Justice and wish to say as laughable as it sounds, there has been never a thing of such.
The Runners-up were asked to read through the guidelines of the Pageantry which Paragraph 4 of page 2 states;
“Making public statements about the Brand or Event without Authorization from the Organization is against the Guidelines establishing the Miss Nasarawa Beauty Pageant and as such, could lead to sanctions from the disciplinary committee set up by the organization”.
The Organizers of the Event also wish to draw the attention of individuals who have personal issues with Engr. Precious Bashayi to derive another means of settling their differences rather than engaging in personality attack and hiding under the Miss Nasarawa cover. Engr. Precious has proven to the entire Team and General Public that there are still young men of integrity with the open door policy he operates while taking charge of the affairs of the brand.
