Mr. Johnson John Zaki (35 years) has thrown his hat to the political ring with youthful vigour and blessings of the elders.
He is vying for the post of Member, Kaduna State House of Assembly.
Jema’a LG Constituency under the platform of PDP.
INTERVENTIONS.
1. In the month of March, 2022, He gave JAMB/UTME fees (N5,000 each) to 120 indigent students. Each of the 12 Wards in Jema’a LG got 10 slots and subsequently paid for 27 more students on special request totalling 147 beneficiaries in all.
2. Seeing the deteriorating Gidan Waya road condition ravaged by gully erosion, Mr. Johnson John Zaki swiftly responded by taking it upon himself to fix the damaged area. He brought 7 tippers of crushed stones to the site before FERMA took over from where he stopped.
3. Considering the poor condition of a major spot in his Ward (Takau ward) he has constructed a culvert in the area in an attempt to ameliorate the problems faced by the people in the area.
4. In an attempt to reach out to the people, Mr. JJ Zaki distributed 5kg of rice to 150 beneficiaries cutting across the 12 Wards of Jema’a LG.
5. He also distributed exercise books and other incentives to his people.
6. In order to help talented youths with musical talent, Mr. Johnson John Zaki sponsored the blogging of their songs in 3 different blogs in order to promote their songs to the wider world.
7. A responsible family man. Mr. Johnson John Zaki is an employer of labour with 34 staff under him. He is a maritime academy trained business man and the CEO of Jeren Agency and Trading ltd.
In the wisdom of PDP leaders in Nigeria, the party has attracted the attention of the youths by the emergence of a 25- year old National Youth Leader of the party.
10 FOCAL POINTS.
In a quest to ensure a PARADIGM SHIFT (Fresh Ideas) We are using the bottom-top approach system where the 12 Wards in Jema’a LGA will give at least 5 basic problems affecting the Ward which shall be used as a template for interventions subject to availability of funds and plugging of low hanging fruits strategy while climbing the ladder to plug the distant ones. Aside the bottom-top strategy, we shall also embark on top-bottom approach, thus:
1. We shall provide a robust legislative blueprint with sponsorship of relevant Bills and Motions that will benefit my constituents.
2. Ensuring the existence of a functional legislative office with legislative aides in the 12 Wards of Jema’a Constituency in order to congregate the contending issues across board and ensure proper feedback mechanism from the grassroots.
3. Quarterly town hall meeting for reportage and ensuring popular views from communities are documented and a closely-knitted follow up to ensure positive action.
4. Discovering and supporting our creative youths with diverse yearly programmes ranging from talent hunt/shows, beauty pageant, musical concerts and Disc Jockey razzmatazz. Skill acquisition programmes for women and youths shall be given top priority.
5. Providing scholarship to a good number of indigent pupils/students in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions using a careful selection process to aid the weak and encourage the strong.
6. Developing sports by organizing competition with standard kits and inviting scouts from different clubs to hunt talents in our Constituency. School sports shall be encouraged to unmask hidden talents.
7. We shall have a special forum for the elderly in order to tap from their wealth of experience.
8. We shall train JAMB/UTME candidates with a robust software with a collection of past JAMB UTME questions and answers to get our students prepared and smash computer phobia before the exams.
9. We shall support our farmers with improved seedlings and other incentives and push for a value chain process for the farmers to get the best from their efforts.
10. We shall encourage inter- faith dialogue and support peace building initiatives. The sustainance of peace is cardinal.
Giving JJ Zaki the support to clinch the ticket will further ginger the youths to support the PDP more, which will translate to further support and votes for other PDP positions during the 2023 general election.
FINAL NOTE.
Looking at what he has done using his resources, it’s a pointer that better things ahead are coming when given the mandate.
We are into this contest for the good of our people. We don’t take it as a do or die affair because our team’s third force psychology is devoid of progressing in error or normalization of the unacceptable. WE TRUST GOD FOR VICTORY.
