BestXplorer has a chat with Dj StarPrince where we asked him some questions based on his career and background. We believe our readers including his fans and FKB Music lovers would love to know some these things about him.

BestXplorer: I will like you to tell us your full names
Dj StarPrince: Okwor Samuel Prince
BestXplorer: An insight about your background including your family.
Dj StarPrince: I hail from Obudu LGA of Cross River state. My mom is Yoruba by tribe, from Osun State.
My dad has 5 children, 4 males and the last born as a female, which I am also the first child. While, my mom has 2 (a female and me as her only male child), which I am also her last child.
BestXplorer: Wow! All the way from Cross-River to Nasarawa. When did you ventured and became a Dj officially?
Dj StarPrince: I started my career as an Afro-beat artist tho due to my passion for music, but along the line fell in love with the DJ Career, I developed passion in it and started practicing since 2014, but I didn’t have any personal gadgets, so I wasn’t consistent with my practice. But I improved my skills in 2018, when I met DJ Kenny of Wazobia FM. He thought me how to use the Serato controller system and the other advanced DJ Softwares.
Officially, since 2018.
BestXplorer: That’s Amazing. So, When did you get signed as an official Dj of FKB MUSIC?
Dj StarPrince: Officially got signed to FKB Music, 2019
BestXplorer: How did you got discovered by B-young?
Dj StarPrince: I saw a flier of his event (Most Beautiful Girl in Nasarawa), around 2019
So I contacted the enquiries number, behold it was his number.
I pleaded with him if I could feature in his event, even if he was going to give only my transportation fair, because I was in school then
Tho I couldn’t be featured that year because it was late already. So after a long while, I noticed I still had his number, I contacted him and he agreed to meet with me. After seeing my first performance in his event, he then agreed to sign me under his management as my reward.
Since then, we’ve been more than family
BestXplorer: Aside from being a Dj what else do you do?
Dj StarPrince: Aside from being a DJ, I’m a Computer Scientist, sound engineer.
BestXplorer: Tell us about your educational background
Dj StarPrince: I did my primary education in St. Theresa’s Primary school, Ogoja, Cross River state. Did part of my secondary school level in Government Technical College, Ogoja, Cross River state. Later graduated from The Gideon’s Secondary school, Ibafo, Ogun state. Where I had my SSCE certificates.
I graduated from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, where I had my OND and HND certificates in Computer Science, Department of Computer Science, School of Information Technology.
