A Nigerian woman has described Afrobeat star, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid as his saviour following how he was saved from bandits by the singer’s music.
According to the lady with Twitter handle, @starbwoi_Val, he was travelling to Kaduna when armed bandits waylaid their vehicle.
She said the armed men started demanding cash and anyone who couldn’t provide was shot dead, when it got to her turn, something miraculous happened.
As the bandits were about to pull the trigger, an undisclosed song from Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ album started playing, immediately the bandits began to jubilate and were so happy that they had to let her go.
@starbwoi_Val wrote;
”Traveling to Kaduna then bandits attacked us, they were killing people that had no money on them.
They got to me and as he was about pulling the trigger, Wizkid’s Made In Lagos started playing.
The bandits started jubilating and that was how I was freed
