The media aide to Popular Juju artist, Oluwaseun Adetoyi has said that recent attacks on the artist and his band members during performances which led to the injuring of some of the band members have put the life of the artist at risk.
The aide Mr. Babatunde Qudus Makinde made this known yesterday noting that “upon further investigation, it was brought to our attention that these attacks may be linked to a dispute within Seun Singa’s own family. It has been alleged that the attacks are a result of Seun Singa’s refusal to partake in a family rite for his daughter.
“The artist would like to make it clear that he has always prioritized the safety and well-being of his family, including his daughter. While he respects and values his family’s traditions and customs, he believes that his daughter’s well-being should not be compromised in the process.
“Seun Singa is currently working with authorities to ensure the safety of himself, his band members, and his family. He hopes that this issue can be resolved peacefully and that his family can come to an understanding that respects everyone’s beliefs and values.
