Papi Dino, born Tonny Prosper is an Eighteen year old underground Altè indie recording artist who hails
from Odi of Bayelsa State of Nigeria. The young and coming artist who is known for his debut studio hit single ‘Gameplan‘ formerly went by the stagename Khaspaa before deciding to drop the name as reasons states in his own words…”I don’t want to go by a name that doesn’t ring masterpiece in the ear of future generations whenever and wherever my music is being played” and coined D.I.N.O which is short for Dreaming.Is.Not.Ordinary with artistic direction of a visions in his Dreams and went ahead with a follow up hit single ‘Body Rythm’ in early parts of 2020.
During a period in his teens, Dino took up the role of a vocalist in the teenage church choir, where he found his passion for music to take it up as a profession.
Dino’s music, styling and branding draws influence from industry’s pacesetter’s in the likes of Wizkid, A Boogie with da Hoodie, Runtown, SAINt JHN, and The Red Eyed Peas. Unmistakably, Dino is not any sort of tribute or spoof of such musicians, as he strives to fuse elements of the hip-hop and R’n’B culture into afropop and other genre of music he syncs in tune with.
