The Mouth is the major GATEWAY to the internal organs as such, whatsoever affects the health of the oral cavity, will have a direct or indirect effect on other parts of the body.

Knowing how to take good care of your oral cavity is therefore important to a healthy living. However, so many people knows little or nothing about their Oral health.

In today’s episode, of #MyOralHealthandI, we had fun while interviewing several young people about what they think they know about their Oral health, causes of common dental diseases and preventive measures.

Raphael Peter Galleh holds BSc in General Microbiology, MSc in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and also a Lecturer with the Department of Microbiology, Nasarawa State University Keffi. He is currently doing his PhD in Oral Microbiology at the School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.
